Our volunteers are at the heart of all we do. When the Peoria Diamond Club opened, in conjunction with the Peoria Sports Complex in 1994, we welcomed about 90 volunteers to help us with Spring Training. Today, over 300 volunteers step up to give their time, talent, experience, and heart, to help us accomplish our mission of supporting youth programs that educate and enrich children’s lives, while enhancing their futures.
We invite you to join our volunteer team to help us create more magic!
Volunteers who refer an individual who becomes an active volunteer, will have their name entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card to one of our sponsor restaurants. One name will be drawn at the Holiday Toy Drive and Social party in December. One name will be drawn at an orientation in mid February.
Ask your referrals to visit the website for the volunteer application and indicate your name as the referral source. Get those referrals in and win!
The PDC would like to acknowledge and congratulate the following outstanding volunteers from the 2023 season!

UPDATED DESCRIPTIONS COMING SOON
This year, the PDC renamed its highest award from the Mel Webber Award to the Bob Hegedus Award.
In our 30th year of giving, we wanted to honor Bob who had been a member of the original PDC volunteers. He worked as an Usher and unofficial “Ambassador” for the PDC for 28 seasons.

Volunteer Coordinator Rebecca Wright presented Russell Zane with the Volunteer of the Year Award.
Russell works every event we have all year long, without fail. He is one of our Spring Training Ticket taker captains.
Nice guy to boot!
Luis Marquez was recognized for 30 years of donating his time, heart and smile to the PDC. We appreciate you Luis!
Your generous donation will further enable us to support youth-based programs throughout the West Valley.
